Ask the Chef

Elizabeth Skipper, The Everyday Epicure, is a personal chef and cooking teacher.

Growing up in Texas, Elizabeth loved Mexican and Tex-Mex food. After moving to Massachusetts, she received her professional chef’s training magna cum laude from French cooking teacher, chef, and restaurateur Madeleine Kamman. A few years later, Elizabeth moved to Geneva, Switzerland, for two years.

Throughout a career in high tech sales and marketing and then time as a homeschooling mom, Elizabeth taught cooking off and on, and continued to hone her culinary skills. When her daughter went off to college in 2006, Elizabeth became The Everyday Epicure, first teaching cooking, and then expanding her offerings to include personal chef services and catering.

A member of the Weston A. Price Foundation, Elizabeth lives and promotes the Nourishing Traditions of delicious, nutrient-dense foods for optimum health and well-being. Also a founding member of the Personal Chefs Cooperative, Elizabeth delights in sharing her love and knowledge of food and cooking with and for others.
