A Baltimore native, Jason Lightner has been writing professionally since July of 2010. The unabashed and unfiltered expression of his views have stirred up controversy on several occasions. Where others see controversy, however, he sees the discussion necessary in order to make progress.
His interests include U.S. and world politics, listening to and creating music, mixology, the Internet and writing, both creative and journalistic. He is a firm believer in the freedom of speech and believes that only through the freedom of information are we truly able to make up our own minds.
Jason began his writing career with Wasabi Media Group, doing articles for five of their websites – Camp Campaign, Parched No More, Inspector Electra, Tunes News and Level Revel.
Jason’s favorite musician is Kurt Cobain and his favorite drink is a glass of Laphroaig 10 Year Old scotch, served neat with a splash of water. Yes, he is an old man.
