Shannon Cyr grew up in Northern California – not too far from Napa Valley. Her life-long love affair with wine was first cultivated at an early age after stealing one too many sips from her mother’s Chardonnay.
In college, Shannon pursued her second passion: writing. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Texas and completed most of her master’s coursework in psychology before leaving school to travel the country in search of the perfect glass of wine…disguised as a corporate trainer.
Finally, in 2007, Shannon left Corporate America to write full time. She has crafted several published articles and a full length novel (hopefully to be published soon).
Living in picturesque Maine with the love of her life, Michael, Shannon spends her time writing, traveling, discovering new restaurants, reading, going to the movies, stargazing, cooking, and continuing her quest for the perfect glass of wine.
